About
A board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Dennis Sagini specializes in hand, wrist and elbow surgery at Precision Healthcare Specialists. Conditions treated include arthritis of the hand, nerve compression, muscle and tendon injury, fracture care and upper extremity dysfunction.
Dedicated to improving patient outcomes, Dr. Sagini honed his skills through rigorous training and hands-on experience. First, he completed his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Oklahoma in 1998. Then, he completed his doctorate in medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia in 2002.
During medical school training, Dr. Sagini developed an interest in orthopaedic surgery and completed a residency in this field at Howard University in Washington, D.C. He completed fellowship training at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He holds membership to many medical organizations, including:
His commitment to performing minimally invasive surgical procedures as well as non-surgical treatments has earned the respect of both his patients and his peers. Dr. Sagini is also passionate about overseas medical mission work and community service. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, the arts and playing tennis with his son and two daughters.

MEET HIS TEAM: VEJAY HARRYPERSAUD, JACQUIE CRANDALL AND SANDRA HAMBLING
Vejay is a nationally Board-Certified Physician Assistant. He attended the University of Central Florida for his Bachelor’s of Science degree with a Major in Health Sciences and a Minor in Health Service Administration. He then went on to obtain his Master’s of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Honors Studies at Nova Southeastern University.
Vejay is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
As Physician Assistant (PA), Vejay is delegated various patient care duties by Dr. Sagini, specializing in care of the hands and upper extremities. This team model is an efficient way to continue providing the highest quality medical care to patients.
Vejay has spent his entire life residing in Florida. Splitting time between Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and SW Florida. Being raised in SW Florida he enjoys spending his free time at the beach.
Jacquie brings 10 years of experience in orthopaedic care to the practice. Her career began as a registered nurse in a busy critical care unit, where she gained valuable hands-on experience in managing various conditions. After obtaining her Master’s degree in 2011, she transitioned into the role of a Nurse Practitioner. While completing her doctorate, she began specializing in orthopaedic care over the past 10 years, where she has been providing comprehensive care to patients ever since.
Jacquie is deeply passionate about providing personalized care to her patients, empowering them to achieve optimal musculoskeletal health and function. She takes a holistic approach to patient care, integrating evidence-based practices with compassionate communication to ensure each patient receives the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. Outside of work, Jacquie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, running, attending church, and has a love of animals including her 3 French bulldogs.
Sandra Hambling, OTR/L is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist and a member of the Precision Healthcare Specialists team. She specializes in hand therapy and upper extremity rehabilitation, treating patients with injuries, postoperative conditions, chronic disorders, and other conditions affecting function and mobility. Her expertise includes wound care, custom splint fabrication, therapeutic exercise, and individualized rehabilitation programs.
Sandra earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Florida International University and her Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Florida Gulf Coast University. Fluent in English and German, she is committed to helping patients reduce pain, restore function, and regain independence through personalized, compassionate care.
