About
Board-certified colorectal surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Neale treats all forms of colorectal and anal disorders at Precision Health Specialists with particular interest in surgical management of colon and rectal cancer. Considered a leader in the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) program, he performs both laparoscopic and robotic surgery for patients in Southwest Florida.
Dr. Neale obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Ottawa in Canada, followed by a medical degree from the University of St. Eustatius School of Medicine. Dr. Neale completed a general surgical residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia, followed by a colorectal surgery fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
During his formal training, Dr. Neale published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals and presented at various conferences. Additionally, he worked at a teaching hospital as a colorectal surgeon in Whangarei, New Zealand, gaining valuable experience to benefit his patients and improve outcomes.
A passionate advocate for living a healthy and active lifestyle, Dr. Neale relocated to Fort Myers in 2011, and has served the local community as an expert colorectal surgeon ever since.
Meet His Team: Erik Schultz, Andrea Winters, and Allison Ha
Erik Schultz has been a full-time colorectal surgical Physician Assistant since 2006. He obtained his undergraduate degree in biology and his Physician Assistant master’s degree in Buffalo, NY. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors and nature. He likes working in his organic vegetable garden and sailing his Hobie kayak.
Andrea Winters is a certified Physician Assistant who joined The Colorectal Institute in 2022 after gaining prior experience in urology. She provides inpatient and outpatient care to our patients, in addition to serving as a surgical first assistant. Andrea obtained her undergraduate degree in biology and psychology from Ripon College in Ripon, WI, followed by her Master’s in Clinical Medical Science, Physician Assistant from Barry University in Miami. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. In her free time, Andrea enjoys playing softball, traveling, and spending time with her standard poodle, Jasper.
Allison Ha is a certified Physician Assistant who has called Lee County home for over 20 years. She joined The Colorectal Institute in 2024, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to patient care. Allison earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, where she developed her expertise and skills within the local community. Her academic foundation was established with an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida in Tampa. In her professional role, Allison is dedicated to providing comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, in addition to serving as a surgical first assistant. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
