Introducing
Marc Melser, MD, FACS

Certified by the American Board of Urology, Dr. Marc Melser is a urologist at Precision Healthcare Specialists. He has served the needs of patients in Charlotte County since 1994. His areas of interest and expertise include the treatment of both benign and malignant diseases of the prostate, kidney stones, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, erectile dysfunction and low testosterone, known as male hypogonadism.

Originally from Red Bank, New Jersey, he received his bachelor’s degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Melser earned his medical degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., followed by an internship in internal medicine at the University of Cincinnati. He then relocated to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan to complete an internship in general surgery, a residency in urology and a fellowship in endourology and extracorporeal lithotripsy.

Dr. Melser and his family moved south to North Carolina in 1990 and then to South Carolina in 1992, relocating to Charlotte County in 1994. Since then, Dr. Melser has been on staff at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital (Fawcett), as well as at ShorePoint Port Charlotte (SPPC) and Punta Gorda (SPPG). He has served as chairman of surgery for both Fawcett and SPPG. Additionally, he has served as president of the Charlotte County Medical Society. He is also a member of several other professional organizations.
