Philip Wong, MD, FACS

Dr. Philip Wong is a board-certified urologist at Precision Healthcare Specialists. He brings more than 20 years of experience in providing expert care across a wide range of urologic conditions.

After earning his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1996, Dr. Wong completed his residency in urology at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 2002. He practiced in Salem, Massachusetts, for 15 years before relocating to Naples, Florida in 2017.

Dr. Wong specializes in adult urology and offers comprehensive care for conditions that include: kidney stones, kidney cancer, hydronephrosis, urinary tract infections (UTIs), bladder dysfunction, bladder cancer, elevated PSA, prostate cancer, prostatitis, erectile dysfunction, low testosterone (hypogonadism) and elective vasectomy. He regularly treats BPH using innovative approaches such as transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP), Aquablation, Urolift and prostate artery embolization (PAE).

Dr. Wong’s expertise also extends to no-scalpel surgeries. This minimally invasive procedure is designed to reduce pain, discomfort and surgical healing time. It also lessens the risk of bleeding, bruising and infection. Additionally, he is proficient in advanced surgical techniques, including ureteroscopy, ureteroscopic laser, and shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) and percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) for managing kidney stone disease.

His patient philosophy is rooted in collaboration and education. Dr. Wong is committed to ensuring that patients fully understand their diagnosis and treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care. He believes in a team-based approach where the patient plays an active role in managing their condition, with Dr. Wong providing expert guidance every step of the way.

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Wong cherishes quality time with his family—his wife and two grade-school sons—in Northeast Naples. Together, they engage in a variety of activities, including watching movies, swimming, fishing, biking, playing basketball and exploring new local restaurants.
